For those that didn't notice, Daylight Saving ended yesterday. That is, in some countries. That is in some of the countries that actually use it. So in case you're in one of these, you had to go to settings and uncheck the "Adjust to daylight saving" checkbox in your profile, and in the Backstage in case you're an admin. That is, if you even enabled it to begin with. And you're in the currect timezone.
Point being, Daylight Saving and the whole idea behind it is nice and all, but its a pain when developing software that actually needs to show times. Turns out Luna is one of these kinds of software.
Up until now, Daylight Saving had to be enabled by the user, and disabled again, to properly show times. However, I'm very glad to tell you guys that with the upcoming Denim update, we're going to take a serious look into this system and solve this behavior. Luna 1.3 will bring along a very long list of PHP timezones that are in fact more clear than what we currently use.
So just that you know it. Besides this, expect Luna 1.3 to contain some major changes to the database and additional minor features and enhancements. We're currently looking into this feature and hope to land it soon in our development branches. Also, the first Preview will hopefully be send to Nightly users by the end of this month.
Have a great day!...or night, depending on your timezone.- Yannick

Daylight Saving and the whole idea behind it is nice and all
No, no it's not.
The new system is now in place on our board! Note that this does reset your timezone to the default UTC timezone, so you'll have to set it one more time...
